"I am the Vine; you are the branches." John 15:5

  The Children's Ministry of Highlands takes its theme from John 15, "I am the Vine; you are the branches." This year, we will focus on the verse, "He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit," to encourage the children in the area of using their gifts and reaching out to others. 

We strive to give the children a firm foundation in our faith through Sunday School, Wednesday night activities, and Special Events. We currently have 123 children on our rolls--52 in the nursey and 71 in K-4--5th grade.  Each week our teachers have the opportunity to touch these young lives for Jesus and to draw them into the kingdom.

My prayer for your children as well as my own is this—“Lord, grow them up not only physically but spiritually, mentally, and relationally into complete men and women of God, just as Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”
