Midweek @ Highlands

 

Midweek Program:  Spring, 2010

January 13th to April 28th

5:00-7:30 p.m.

Join us each Wednesday Night this spring for a wonderful time of fellowship with the larger church body as we gather for dinner from 5:00-6:15.

Nurseries (0-3yrs) open at 6:00.  Carla Snopek teaches the 2's & 3's a Bible lesson and leads them in music.  There is also time for outside play.

At 5:45 children in K-4 through 5th grade are dismissed to the care of a supervising adult who will take them upstairs or outside, depending on the weather.  Parents are responsible for their children until they have been dismissed.

If your child (K4-2nd grade) is not ready to go upstairs at this time with their class, a parent will need to escort the child to the classroom. 

The check-out procedure requires that parents pick up children in 2nd grade or below.  No siblings will be allowed to sign out a child.

The following schedule applies to children K-4 through 5th grade:

               5:45--6:15 Games

               6:15—6:30 Gathering time 

               6:30-7:30  Bible lessons and Projects

 Children will meet in the following rooms:

               Room 308: Children's Worship ~ Cindy Johnson & Malaika Quarterman

               Room 307:  4 & 5 year olds ~ Beginning Kid's Quest Catechism ~ Laura Lee Beavers & Suzannah Martin

               Room 308: 1st-4th graders ~ Teachers:  Laurie Nordan & Grace Martin

               Room 312 & 313:  Projects ~ Melinda Everett & Rebecca Farmer

               Room 305:  5th graders ~ The Secret of Handling Money God's Way ~ Karen Yates & Emilie Odom

               Room 310:  Communicants' Class ~ Understanding the Faith ~ Craig Crosland
